> Family Art Experience
December 14 & January 11
This specially designed program teaches parents and children how to appreciate and explore art together. On December 14, artist Chad Attie will discuss the concept of "what is art" by displaying original and famous paintings. After this discussion, families will create their own artwork by utilizing the concepts discussed and a wide variety of materials. Then on Januaury 11, families will have the option to view and study original works of art in a Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) gallery.
This program is $20 for the one-day art workshop or $36 for both days. This price includes one child and one adult. There will be a $10 charge per additional person. Classes are $24 per 4-week series for members and $36 for non-members including the price of admission). Space is limited! Pre-registration required!
